Services Offered came at just the right time

Timing is everything. We all have to deal with the unexpected at some point. Sometimes it?s catastrophic, other times it?s simply a friendly warning.

Two weeks ago Drew Gurley(Redbird?s EVP who is still very active in the field) connected with a 52-year-old woman who wanted to cover her funeral expenses and leave something to her three daughters. He took her through several options and she decided a Sagicor No-Lapse Universal Life policy was her best option. Her funeral is now paid for and her daughters get a nice gift from mom, TAX FREE.

?She opted for $50,000 and she sailed through the simplified phone interview,? Drew said. ?On the Monday after meeting with her on Saturday she called me after having a scheduled, routine annual exam. Since she was about to turn 52 they conducted an EKG as well,? Drewsaid. ?The EKG uncovered a minor heart attack in the recent past. You have no idea how thrilled I was that she got the policy and, as you can imagine, she was thanking me profusely. That?s a pretty good feeling.?

There?s more good news. In Drew?s initial meeting he took her through Redbird?s Services Offered approach and helped her better understand not only what we offer but options that she had not considered.

?I will be going back to her this Saturday (tomorrow) to deliver the Universal policy and start the paperwork for a small IRA ($7,831) rollover that will take away all of the market risk and fee costs for her. We have one happy camper for a customer.?
